The estate has holdings of 24 Hectares throughout the Northern Rhone including Condrieu, Côte Rôtie & St Joseph . There is an even split of 50% Viognier & 50% Syrah and they have been farming with organic practices for many years & the property is now fully certified .The unique & dramatic terroir of the estate’s holdings in Condrieu consist of extremely steep slopes that are beneficial for drainage and help with sun exposure. The soils are a unique type of granite called biotite that when combined with the maturity of the vines age of 50 plus years helps contribute to the magic of Vernay’s Condrieu that sets it apart from Viognier grown anywhere else in the World.
